About Us

Britney Chapman
MS Counseling Psychology, SNDdeN Executive Assistant

Britney is an avid yoga practitioner, meditator, writer, and spiritual seeker.  She studied Counseling Psychology at Salem State University, specializing in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, and earned her undergraduate degree in music and psychology at Northeastern University in Boston. Prior to working with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, Britney was the Learning & Development Coordinator for a Boston tech company, where she arranged professional and personal development programs for staff. Britney's love for yoga and meditation began at age 18 and grew from her time spent in Bali, Indonesia. Self-care for Britney involves morning sun salutations, lunch time walks or meditation, and reading a passage of Ram Dass or Jon Kabat Zinn before bed. Her goal is to live life mindfully and authentically, and she strives to help others do the same!

Megan Linehan
Herbalist, SNDdeN Administrative Assistant

Megan was raised with a deep appreciation for the natural world, and our plant and animal friends. Her mom is a wildlife rehabilitator, and her grandmother was a shamanic practitioner, Reiki Master, and healer. Her grandmother inspired her to study Reiki, which she did after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Wildlife Ecology. Reiki was her first introduction to mindfulness and self-care.  Several years ago, Megan started attending local primitive skills gatherings – events where people share traditional skills to encourage self-reliance and stewardship of the land. After attending an herbal first aid class at one of these gatherings, she fell in love with the plants. Megan went on to study Clinical Herbalism with the Boston School of Herbal Studies. She is most interested in “backyard medicine”, working with the plants growing around her, living with the seasons, and fostering our own power to heal ourselves. Megan is continuing to learn and incorporate herbal medicine, Reiki, yoga, and more into her ever-evolving self-care routine.
